Portfolio Optimizer Tool is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your financial information should remain private and under your complete control.
No Portfolio Data Storage — Your portfolio positions, quantities, prices, and allocations are never stored on our servers. All optimization calculations happen in real-time and results are not saved. Once the optimization is complete, your data is immediately discarded.
No Personal Information — We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information. You remain completely anonymous when using this tool.
No Account Creation — The tool does not require user accounts or registration. You can use it completely anonymously without creating any kind of profile or login.
No Third-Party Data Sharing — Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with any third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other purposes. We have no data to sell or share.
We use minimal cookies strictly necessary for the tool to function:
Bot Protection Session (24 hours) — An anonymous session token used to verify you're human and prevent automated abuse. This cookie expires after 24 hours and contains no personal information—just a random identifier that proves you completed the verification challenge.
We use privacy-focused analytics (Umami) to understand how the tool is used and improve it over time:
Anonymous Usage Tracking — We track events like "optimization completed" and "settings edited" without any personal identifiers. There's no way for us to connect these events to you as an individual.
No User Identification — Analytics are fully anonymous. We cannot identify individual users or track you across websites. Each visit is treated as a separate, unconnected event.
Self-Hosted Analytics — Analytics data is processed on our own infrastructure, not shared with third-party analytics providers like Google Analytics or similar services.
Client-Side Calculations — Portfolio data you enter stays in your browser during optimization. Only the calculation request is sent to our server, which processes it in real-time and returns the results without storing anything.
HTTPS Encryption — All communications between your browser and our servers are encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL (Transport Layer Security). This prevents anyone from intercepting your data while it's being transmitted.
No Logging of Portfolio Data — Server logs do not capture portfolio details. We only log technical information needed for debugging and system maintenance (such as errors, response times, and server health metrics).
Anonymous Bot Protection — Bot verification (Cloudflare Turnstile) is privacy-focused and doesn't collect personal information. It's designed as a privacy-respecting alternative to traditional CAPTCHA systems.
You can save your portfolio configuration as a JSON file using the "Save" button. This file contains your portfolio positions, settings, and preferences—but it's entirely under your control:
When you load a configuration file, it is read directly from your device by your browser. The file never leaves your device—we never see or store these files on our servers.
This tool uses the following third-party services:
Cloudflare Turnstile — Bot protection service that helps prevent automated abuse of the tool. Cloudflare may collect minimal technical data for fraud prevention purposes. Unlike traditional CAPTCHAs, Turnstile is designed to be privacy-friendly and doesn't track users. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for more details.
Umami Analytics (Self-Hosted) — Privacy-focused analytics platform hosted entirely on our own infrastructure. Unlike third-party analytics services, no data is shared with external parties. Umami is specifically designed to respect user privacy while providing useful insights about how the tool is used.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other invasive tracking technologies. We've deliberately chosen privacy-respecting alternatives.
